Virtual Cardiovascular Care
Expert heart care by telehealth, from the comfort of your home.
Our Approach
Our cardiology practice delivers comprehensive virtual diagnosis and treatment across 48 states by telehealth and video. Whether you search for virtual cardiology, telehealth cardiology, telemedicine cardiology, or an online cardiologist, the practice is the same. We work with most major insurance carriers — a card on file covers any balance not paid by your insurer. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. In many cases we can offer next-day cardiology appointments.

Evidence-Based Management

How it works
Schedule your appointment
Select the care you need and pick a convenient time. Send any information you would like reviewed beforehand — prior diagnostic testing or labs.
Meet your cardiologist
Connect virtually with an expert cardiologist for a guideline-based visit. We diagnose your cardiac issues, order tests at a local lab or imaging center near you, and prescribe the medications you need.
Continue your care journey
Follow-up visits review your test results, update your medications, and order more tests as needed. A visit note goes to your PCP so your primary care stays in the loop.
What we treat
A board-certified cardiologist can evaluate and manage a full range of heart and vascular conditions by video.
Need testing close to home? When we order labs or imaging, the test gets done at a facility near you. Recent orders include BayCare Outpatient Imaging (FL), Mass General Nuclear Cardiology Lab (MA), RAYUS Radiology (WA), Sutter Medical Group Cardiology (CA), and many more across the country. See sample facilities by state →
Modern cholesterol therapies — not just statins
Looking for a cardiologist who will work with you on alternatives to statins, or prescribe the latest non-statin therapies? Our cardiologists prescribe the full modern lipid-management toolkit — from first-line statins to PCSK9 inhibitors, bempedoic acid, ezetimibe, and the newest combination options.
Read our take on the 2026 cholesterol guidelines — covering Lp(a), ApoB, statin alternatives, and when each therapy makes sense.
Tests we order & interpret
We can order the cardiac tests you need — and review the results you already have. The test gets done at a local imaging center or lab; results come back for review and discussion at a follow-up video visit. Skip the multi-month wait for an in-person cardiologist appointment just to get an order written.

What patients say
I would recommend Dr. Deo to anyone looking for a telehealth cardiologist. I came to him with a complicated, unusual case that isn't urgent. This is the kind of thing that's easy to wave off. Instead, he took the time to think through the whole picture and was genuinely open to my questions and ideas, while still being honest when he didn't agree with a hypothesis. Both he and Jackie at Deo Medical have been extremely kind in their communication throughout. This is something I've been chasing down for years, so I'm really grateful I found Deo Medical.
Dr. Deo has been an absolute godsend for me. I've been dealing with a really tough cluster of symptoms (POTS, flushing, adrenaline surges, migraines, and more) that left me nearly homebound. I also have a complex family history of sudden cardiac arrest. Finding a local cardiologist who could see me (and could handle my complex case) was basically impossible and most were booked out nearly a year. The thought of going in person was overwhelming with my anxiety. Dr. Deo does everything a normal in-office cardiologist can do. He orders tests, reviews results, prescribes medications, and manages care, but because it's all virtual, he's been able to see me much more often and respond faster than I could have ever gotten with local doctors. His office manager, Jacqueline, is amazing — she's very receptive and thorough, which made the whole process feel supportive from the start. Dr. Deo himself took the time to really listen and dig into my full history. He ordered the right tests (including the Zio patch) and was genuinely open to thinking creatively about medications that could actually help my specific symptoms instead of just giving me the standard answers. Look up his educational/experience background! Impressive. He's clearly very knowledgeable across several areas but explained things in a way that made sense. I've already started feeling a bit more hopeful and supported. I've even been recommending him on TikTok to other women going through similar issues because finding a doctor (and team) who actually gets the full picture, works with you virtually, and can see you more frequently is rare. If you're struggling with complex autonomic or cardiac symptoms and need someone who will truly listen, I can't recommend Dr. Deo enough.
Highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs a cardiologist, especially in states where access is limited. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Highly responsive to questions and easy to talk to during tele visits. So much better than being on waitlists for in-person visits with mediocre care.
I had an amazing experience at my first virtual visit with Dr. Deo. The Dr. listened to my concerns and was very personable and professional. Testing was ordered immediately. I feel like I am in great hands with him.

Outstanding experience with Dr. Rahul Deo. He is an exceptional communicator who thoughtfully reviewed the results of my labs/scans in great detail, breaking down complex cardiac markers into clear, practical explanations. It is rare to find a cardiology specialist who is this accessible, responsive, and genuinely invested in preventive health. This direct virtual care model is highly efficient, stress-free without taking away the quality of care. Highly recommend!
I'm so glad I scheduled a second opinion with Dr. Deo. He reviewed all of my relevant medical data ahead of our appointment and gave clear explanations for my results. He was much more informative than my original doctor and understood what I was hoping to get out of our appointment. An empathetic listener, he recognized that I was feeling anxious and needed reassurance in addition to detailed explanation of my palpitations and what the next steps should be.
Dr Deo was great. He was friendly, very detail oriented, data driven and I had the overall feeling that I was in very good hands.
Dr Deo was very patient with me. He answered all my questions, provided excellent information regarding my upcoming procedure, and advised me regarding healthier alternatives post procedure. It was an excellent appointment and very convenient!
Outstanding virtual visit. The doctor was attentive, knowledgeable, and actually took the time to listen. Smooth process from start to finish, couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
Dr Rahul Deo is an amazing, knowledgeable and superbly caring doctor. He took a holistic approach to my situation and even gave me very good, actionable tips on how to manage life as a busy graduate student. Overall I felt very seen and that my concerns were thoroughly addressed. I highly, highly recommend this doctor to anyone considering seeing him!
Had a pretty good experience at the Docs Office. I was not expecting to be seen so quickly, but the wait time was fantastic and the care received was top notch. The Doc made sure to ask all the necessary questions and was very patient throughout that process.
Clear advice. Was able to get my questions answered. Good input for next steps. I am happy to see such expertise available via zocdoc. I saw only two cardiologists listed for the area with available appointments that I could see within a few days of searching.
Very good bedside manner. Attended to my questions and needs. The video visits are so convenient too. I'd recommend this doctor to my family or anyone.
Dr Deo: he was personable, and answered my questions with authority. He was able to pull my charts and agreed to refill the prescriptions.
Very positive experience. Dr seemed very knowledgeable and listened well to my concerns. Seem to have a game plan I was comfortable with for my issues.
Dr. Deo was really kind, and there was minimal wait time to be seen.
Great experience. The physician told me he would include the contact information in the chat. However, once disconnected, it was irretrievable.
Very knowledgeable.
Great service.
Good.

The other half of your heart
Everything most prevention advice covers is the arteries. The heart muscle stiffens on its own schedule, in people whose arteries are fine, and it is measurable years before symptoms.
Cleerly, CCTA, and calcium scores: which heart test, when?
Patients ask about Cleerly scans constantly. When CT coronary angiography and AI-quantified plaque scans actually change care, and when they don't.
The new cholesterol guidelines: Lp(a), ApoB, and lower thresholds
The 2026 ACC/AHA dyslipidemia guidelines lowered treatment thresholds, expanded the toolkit beyond statins, and elevated Lp(a) and ApoB.
